1.Introduction
This page explains how TK Store calculates its commission on sales made on TK Store DZ, which fees exist and do not exist at this stage, how the seller balance and TK Points work, the hold and payout rules, and how disputes and refunds affect the balance.
It is read together with the Selling Rules and the Terms of Use. In case of an apparent conflict, the rates and rules published on this page prevail for commissions and fees.
2.How TK Store’s commission works
TK Store’s commission is a percentage of the product price in the order, depending on the product category and on the customer source. The commission is deducted from the order amount, and the remainder is credited to the seller balance once the order is completed and the hold rules have been applied.
The commission is calculated on the product price paid for the order, not on any payment-method fees that may be shown to the buyer at checkout.
3.What customer source means
Each category has two rates: one when the order is Seller-sourced and one when it is TK-sourced. The customer source is the party that brought the order to the platform, as determined by TK Store from its records and its approved attribution mechanisms.
4.Seller-sourced sales
A Seller-sourced order is an order that TK Store identifies as originating from the seller through a referral link, a seller tracking mechanism or an attribution mechanism approved by TK Store.
5.TK-sourced sales
A TK-sourced order is an order coming from:
- Product discovery within the TK Store DZ marketplace.
- Search.
- The homepage.
- Recommendations.
- TK Store advertising.
- TK Store’s customer base.
- Direct navigation on the platform.
- Any other source not attributed to the seller through an approved mechanism.
6.What happens if the source is not clear
TK Store has final authority over the recorded source of an order for commission purposes, based on its records and its approved attribution mechanisms.
7.Commission table
Approved rates by category and customer source:
| Category | Seller-sourced | TK-sourced |
|---|---|---|
| Gift Cards | 3% | 6% |
| Game Keys | 4% | 7% |
| Gaming Top-ups | 5% | 8% |
| Software Keys | 6% | 9% |
| Personal Subscriptions | 7% | 13% |
| Shared Subscriptions | 10% | 20% |
| Digital Assets & Templates | 12% | 25% |
| Courses & E-books | 20% | 35% |
| Gaming Accounts | 10% | 18% |
The rate is applied to the product price in the order. Rates are subject to the update clause in section 18.
8.Courses and e-books
Courses & E-books is an active category on the platform. Its approved commission is 20% for a Seller-sourced order and 35% for a TK-sourced order.
The seller remains responsible for rights and licensing, external hosting, access, support and the promised duration, under the Selling Rules and the Intellectual Property Policy.
9.Gaming Accounts
Gaming Accounts is an active category on the platform. Its approved commission is 10% for a Seller-sourced order and 18% for a TK-sourced order. An order whose source is unknown or not attributed is treated as TK-sourced.
No category-specific hold, reserve or surcharge applies: the normal holding period, and the usual dispute and extended-hold rules, apply as for every category.
The seller sets their own Seller Warranty, stated in the short description, and remains responsible for reclaims and account defects under the Selling Rules.
10.Commission calculation examples
The following examples are illustrative only, with hypothetical amounts:
- A 10,000 DZD Gift Card sale that is Seller-sourced: 3% commission = 300 DZD, so the seller’s amount after commission is 9,700 DZD before any dispute or hold adjustments.
- A 10,000 DZD course sale that is TK-sourced: 35% commission = 3,500 DZD, so the seller’s amount after commission is 6,500 DZD before any dispute or hold adjustments.
The amount after commission does not mean the money is immediately available for payout; it remains subject to the hold and payout rules in the following sections.
11.Fees that do not currently exist
There is no listing fee, no subscription fee, no setup fee and no marketplace membership fee for sellers at this stage.
TK Store does not charge the buyer a separate general service fee as part of the seller commission model. However, fees related to the selected payment method may apply, and are shown to the buyer in the checkout flow depending on the method available.
12.Seller balance and TK Points
The seller’s earnings are credited to their internal balance on the platform after the applicable commission and holds. TK Points are an internal balance specific to the platform; they are not a bank account, a banking service or a regulated financial deposit.
The available balance is transferred to the seller only through the payout process approved on the platform (see section 15).
13.Normal hold period
Once an order is completed and the seller’s amount is credited, a normal hold period of 24 hours applies before the amount can be included in a payout request. Its purpose is to allow time to verify delivery and handle any early problem.
14.Extended hold
TK Store may extend the hold on all or part of the balance in cases such as:
- An open dispute.
- Repeated complaints.
- A suspected violation of the rules.
- A ban or suspension.
- Active obligations towards customers.
- Unresolved buyer issues.
15.Payout request and minimum
Payouts are requested by the seller from their dashboard under the platform’s procedure, to the payout account registered in their profile.
- Minimum payout request: the equivalent of 5,000 DZD.
- A request is made only against the available balance, after holds and disputed amounts.
- The request is reviewed and executed under the platform’s procedures; TK Store does not commit to a specific execution time at this stage.
16.Disputes, refunds and their effect on the balance
If TK Store refunds or compensates a buyer because of an issue attributable to the seller or the product, the refunded or disputed amount may be deducted or withheld from the seller balance. The balance related to a dispute may remain on hold while the dispute is reviewed.
The actual buyer refund rules remain governed by the Buyer Protection and Refund Policy.
17.Negative balance
If the seller’s available balance is insufficient to cover a refunded or disputed amount, the difference may be recorded as a negative balance or an amount owed on the seller’s account, under the existing rules. The seller is required to settle it, and it may be deducted from future earnings or payouts may be suspended until settlement.
18.Updates to commissions and rules
TK Store may update commission rates, seller fee rules, payout rules and the related operational policies. For material changes affecting sellers, TK Store prefers to give 7 days’ prior notice where applicable.
Not every update requires new approval from the seller. If the seller does not accept the updated commercial terms, they may unpublish their products or stop selling. Continued selling after the effective date may constitute acceptance of the update where appropriate.
19.Seller responsibility for following up orders
The seller must follow their orders and balance from their dashboard, check the commission applied to each order, and report any possible calculation error through the contact channels within a reasonable time, quoting the order number.
20.Contact
